Organic Aromas

Essential oils are powerful, if you haven't tried them trust me they are a MUST for any holistic home. From help with cleaning, to refreshing the air, to quelling a belly ache. and calming pms there's an essential oil for almost everything.

Need a good nights sleep, try cedar oil (or this Night Body Oil) for deep restful sleep. Got a headache, try peppermint or lavender on temples and behind ears for a quick reduction. Got sticker residue from your two year old going crazy with the Elsa stickers on your fireplace? Grab lemon oil and gunk be gone. To say I love essential oils is at best an understatement. THEY ARE LIFE CHANGING. Period

So you probably think I now going to dive into some long sales pitch about which essential oil company to choose, blah blah blah. Don't click away too fast because I'm not. I'm gonna leave that up to you. Today I am going to let you in one my favorite way to diffuse the oils into the air...which is one of the most common ways to reap the many medicinal benefits of the oils.

No, it's not by ceramic holder and candle or even a water filled diffuser. It's much simpler, much less messy (liquids and I have never been good friends) and much more beautiful. The Organic Aromas Diffusers.

These diffusers use no water or candles but rather nebulize the oils into the air. They are waterless, headless, and quiet. It’s simple and spectacular. Here's what I love:

  • no mess of wax or risk of fire
  • no oh crap I ran out of candles now what am I gonna do because it's 10pm and Target’s closed.
  • no more disassembling the water diffuser to refill it-everyday
  • no more bumping the water diffuser only to spill it all over the floor
  • easy cleaning
  • Less essential oils used-meaning more money in my pocket
  • The diffusers are a beautiful work of art and come in a large variety of styles, including some handcarved. All of which would look great as a centerpiece.
  • Did I mentions they are beautiful?!

Here's the skinny:  Grab the eo you require and place 5-25 drops into the top of the glass portion. Turn on, replace glass topper piece and watch as gentle mist emits from the top of the Organic Aroma Diffuser. Choose to have the LED light on or off. The diffuser runs for 2 hours before shutting off automatically. The bursts are for two minutes with a minute pause. Perfect.

The more drops of eo you use the longer it will last. When I use around 15 or more the aroma will last for DAYS with frequent use! I was shocked just how long it did last.

Organic Aromas The Elements Premium Essential Oils Blends     `

Now I know I said I'm not here to sell you on the kind of EO's to use. And I'm not, I'm not an aromatherapist and I'm not into multi-level marketing. Plus I think there's too many great oil companies out there to choose just one...and who ever said we had to choose just one anyway right!? So, I do want to share with you that Organic Aromas has some amazing blends.

Their newest blends are two collections with six oils each. Awaken is the floral uplifting Aromas and Inspire are the more woody and grounding scents. I love oils from both collections. But my favorite overall is Meditation. A grounding blend of Benzoin, Rosewood, Myrtle, Dill Seed, Bergamot, Hinoki, Amyris, Clove, Geranium, Patchouli, and Sweet Fennel. The scent is woody fruity aroma that reduces stress, tension, and nerves. It’s great anytime but especially useful at night before bed or meditation.

My favorite of the Awaken collection is Butterflies Breath…I know the name is rather silly but the uplifting sweet and minty aroma is amazing. A blend of Jasmine, Celery Seed, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Geranium, Ylang Ylang, Palmarosa, Spearmint, and Rosemary it brings focus and love. It’s a great choice for the daytime!

The blends can be found here and diffusers can be found here.
