athar'a pure Indian Glow Scrub review

Rose Petal Jasmine Body Lotion

I learned my love for this lotion during a message session. After trading massage for massage with my brother-in-law we were both sold on the amazingness of Athar’a Pure’s Rose Petal Jasmine Lotion. It’s ultra silky, lightweight, light scented and perfect for a long massage. Plus, because it’s a lotion it absorbs shortly after the massage is done…meaning no oily residue on your clothes.

The lotion is a blend of oils, glycerine, and aloe that glide effortlessly and hydrate. While I did find it too light for ultra dry winter skin (more on what I recommend for that here), it’s a perfect lotion for summer, after shaving legs, or again a massage! The scent is floral, but fades quickly and is on the lighter side…meaning no complaints by my BIL that it was too girly for his massage.

The Rose Petal Jasmine Lotion is one of the only lotions I’ve loved in the last year or so. You see, I've been on a major body oil kick since using ParaGoods oils and frankly usually find lotions sub-par. But Athar’a Pure has finally broken this body oil streak, it’s the only body lotion on my go-to shelf surrounded by a host of various body oils, like this and this one. I think that speaks to the awesomeness of this lotion, right?

Athar'a Pure Indian Glow Scrub Review

Indian Glow Face Scrub

A natural version of microdermabrasion, Athar’a Pure Indian Glow Face Scrub is formulated to scrub, buff, and revive lackluster skin. And lemme tell you it’s been a game changer for me. My skin is ultra smooth, never irritated, and always more than happy to meet its three times a week dose of Indian Glow.

Athar'a Pure review

A unique blend of sandalwood, turmeric, oat flour, neem, rice powder, Kaolin clay, orange peel powder, flaxseed and guava powder the scrub is beautifully orange and earthy. Coming in a dry powered form, I mix just a few drops of water to make a paste in my palm…or if I’m really feeling it I use Rose Water or this Rosemary Awakening Mist as replacement for the water. After gently buffing in circular motions I leave the scrub on (time permitting) for about 10 minutes. Which, really makes it a scrub and mask in one. My skin is always touch-ably soft and lightly glowing post treatment.

It’s been especially useful in helping fade blemishes and dark spots as the formula is antibacterial, healing, inflammation quelling, and brightening. Find it here for $25 and don't forget about the coupon code to save 20%!

Moroccan Glow Detoxifying Face Mask

Despite being made from only four ingredients, Athar’a Pure’s Moroccan Glow Detoxifying Face Mask is a unique treat for the skin. Best for acne and sensitive skin the prized moroccan red clay is gentle yet great at pulling impurities from skin. It evens oil production, reduces pores and blackheads, and removes dead skin cells which are one reason for acne in the first place. Plus the strawberry exact and turmeric are brightening and anti-inflammatory.

Athar'a Pure Jasmine Rose Lotion Review

Used twice a week, I’ve really noticed a difference in my pores. The first few times of using it, I actually felt a drawing sensation as the mask dried. After each use my skin is pink, but within a few hours a nice glow shines through. Get the Moroccan Glow Detoxifying Face Mask here for $25
